Diaconate

Role: Servants of the church, assisting in spiritual and practical matters.
Function: Support the Pastor in serving the congregation through care, prayer, and administration.
Responsibility: Model Christian character, ensure the care of members, and safeguard the unity of the church.
The RMBC Diaconate, composed of chosen men and women servants, exists to serve the body of Christ by assisting the Pastor in both spiritual and temporal matters. Rooted in Acts 6:1–6, the Diaconate ensures that no member of the church is neglected, particularly in times of need. Their work includes ministering to the sick, caring for the poor, supporting worship services, and serving communion. They function as spiritual examples of integrity, humility, and compassion. Deacons are charged with maintaining the unity of the church family, ensuring peace within the body, and strengthening the Pastor’s hands in the work of ministry.
