Welcome to the Restoration Missionary Baptist Church family. We are grateful to God for your partnership in Kingdom-building with us. We believe your decision has come with much prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit.

This welcome packet will provide you with the basic information about our church. It also contains an information sheet and a questionnaire to help us serve you better. Our goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible. Continue to pray about your place in Restoration’s ministry; when you find it, contact the ministry leader and feel free to join our work. We are always open to innovative ways of using your gifts, talents, and skills; if you do not see a ministry that fits you, please contact me (Pastor Markesce) or one of our Deacons.

Membership Invitation & Confession of Faith

At Restoration Missionary Baptist Church, we believe in both the inward confession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and the outward, public profession of that faith before the body of believers.

Therefore, we encourage you to publicly confess your desire to unite with our church during the Worship Experience Altar Call. This is the customary process of our congregation, allowing you to come forward in response to the call of God’s Spirit. This sacred moment affirms your covenant connection with the church, honors the biblical call to confess Christ before others (Matthew 10:32), and welcomes you into the fellowship of Restoration Missionary Baptist Church with love, prayer, and joy.

If you feel led to take more time before making a public commitment, we honor your spiritual journey and invite you to continue worshiping and fellowshipping with us until you are ready. Our leadership and members are here to walk alongside you in prayer, encouragement, and discipleship until the Lord gives you peace to join.

Upon your confession of faith to join the Restoration Missionary Baptist Church, you will either: Receive the Right Hand of Fellowship or be scheduled for baptism if you are coming as a candidate through conversion and faith.

Request to receive the Right Hand of Fellowship as a sign of acceptance and unity within the body of Christ at Restoration Missionary Baptist Church.

Request for baptism by full immersion as a new convert to faith in Christ Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior."
