MOTTO
Where Hope Finds a Home

PURPOSE
Restoration Missionary Baptist Church exists to restore the joy of all humankind. We will glorify
God through our worship, fellowship, kingdom work, and personal character, that we may
disciple others to be fruitful and faithful servants of God.

MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to restore humanity to God by offering salvation through Christ, restore the inner
being through fellowship and relevant ministry, and restore the church-community connection
through meaningful outreach and evangelism.

The Work of Restoration Translation
1. We are a place for worship, study, fellowship, and prayer.
2. We are a place where the oppressed, hurting, and frustrated can find love, acceptance,
help, hope, forgiveness, guidance, encouragement, and restoration.
3. We equip and empower members for ministry through utilizing their spiritual gifts,
talents, and skills for God’s glory.
4. We develop men, women, boys, and girls to be leaders at home, in the Church, and in the
world for God’s glory and their good.
5. We partner with community agencies and organizations for the purposes of evangelism,
justice, equality, and equity.
6. We are tithers and blessed in giving as the means to support and finance the mission work
and programs of Restoration.
7. We support missions through varied Christian associations, conventions, and ministries.

VISION STATEMENT

Our vision is to be fully restored people, fully restoring people

2 Corinthians 5:14–21 (NRSV):
14 For the love of Christ urges us on, because we are convinced that one has died for all; therefore all have died.
15 And he died for all, so that those who live might live no longer for themselves, but for him who died and was raised for them.
16 From now on, therefore, we regard no one from a human point of view; even though we once knew Christ from a human point of view, we know him no longer in that way.
17 So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!
18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us.
20 So we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us; we entreat you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
