RMBC Guidelines
7/5/06, 4:00 PM
RMBC Guidelines provide a biblical framework for worship, fellowship, stewardship, and service as a Baptist church family.
The RMBC Guidelines are established to uphold the order, unity, and mission of Restoration Missionary Baptist Church as a local body of Christ. These guidelines outline the principles by which we operate as an individual Baptist congregation, grounded in Scripture and consistent with our Baptist heritage. They provide direction for worship, discipleship, stewardship, community service, and fellowship, ensuring that every member understands their role and responsibility in advancing the Kingdom of God through RMBC.
Key areas covered in our church guidelines include:
Worship & Doctrine – Faithful adherence to the Bible as the inspired Word of God, following Baptist articles of faith, and honoring Christ in all worship services.
Membership & Fellowship – Expectations of members to live out their covenant vows, participate faithfully, and uphold Christian unity.
Stewardship & Giving – Guidance for tithing, offerings, and responsible use of resources to support the ministry and mission of the church.
Leadership & Service – Roles and responsibilities of pastors, deacons, trustees, and ministry leaders as servant-leaders in the body of Christ.
Discipleship & Education – Commitment to teaching, Bible study, and training members to grow spiritually and serve effectively.
Community Engagement – Serving the community through evangelism, outreach, and benevolence as a witness of Christ’s love.
These guidelines are not meant to replace the authority of Scripture but to help our church walk in decency, order, and accountability as we serve the Lord together.
